Notes: There was a Black Prince hire boat that caught up to me very rapidly whilst passing moored boats. I turned a sharp right hand bend and a boat was coming the other way through a lift bridge and I warned him of the hire boat that was following me. I didn't exactly see what happened but I think the hire boat narrowly missed the other boat but went straight on at the bend. They caught up to me when I arrived at the narrow section by the now removed Fenny Compton tunnel. I stopped to let another oncoming boat come through. This gave the following hire boat a hard time and the carreered into the bank. Total idiots. I don't think they have learnt anything in their boating vacation so far. There were seven on board and I had the misfortune to be sitting by them in the pub.
